The good news - 2 inches of rain from this last system. Keeping us out of agricultural drought, and helping a little, maybe, with hydrologic drought status.
The bad news - unexpected, there is frost out there this morning - not below freezing on the porch, but heavy frost forming out in the most exposed iris rows. More selection weather. Hopefully, the potted storebought irises are sheltered enough not to have fertility totally knocked out. Too late to drag them all back indoors now.
