Hello, Everyone, Our April Fool's joke was no joke. Yesterday, April 1, Phoenix hit 100 degrees F. My earliest reblooming seedlings are past their prime now, though still putting up stalks. I have two I am going to register. 63-75D the dark violet-red, took the most votes at the early spring show last Saturday. The other is 7636-6525 A, Coral Dancer X Cloud Reflection. It has light purple standards; falls are cream with a buff rim, an odd blend of pink, lavender and gold. It has Coral Dancer's ruffles, and I think it's my prettiest iris though the public seems to prefer dark, bright colors over pastels. I went out this morning to take pictures of pink seedings that opened in the night, but found only poor form or poor stalks, only one little lavender worth a picture.
