rats - after this morning's daubing and closer inspection, I have to change some of the previous post - GOLDEN IMMORTAL and half of the stalks on IMM have collapsed or are looking worse since yesterday & the two seedlings from VM X PAGAN DANCE look like remaining buds are damaged. Remaining stalks on RENOWN are looking pretty iffy also.

But it does look like some of the usually really late ones may have at least some stalks that bloom. Color starting to show on CELEBRATION SONG, at least one stalk of DOCTOR ALAN, and a few seedlings not showing color yet look ok.

Season continues to be all scrambled up - locally common unknown MTB that usually is the last to bloom here, mid May, is in full bloom now (near the house, not out in the field).

Linda Mann east TN zone 7b, definitely the iris 'vale of despair' this year!
