Re: Iris Season is Here!

It won't be the "real" iris season until we have blooms in Western New York.
That will be just about 7;30 AM on June 7, just before our show. When is
it the "real' Iris season in New Hampshire and/or CAnada?

While I have you all:
My backyard bunch of (*^(*&^(*&* with fuzzy tails dug up my fall
planting of beardless. I may have lost Snow Queen and Emporer's Command.
I picked up Snow Queen and as I was picking around it, I'd picked off what
may have been the green growing nub. Does anyone want to offer hope, or
an educated guess as to whether it will survive? There is a crown there, but..

And, for the Louisana folks: I have Newcomer, Harlan K. Riley, and
Shrimp Louis. All gifts from a local grower. I've never seen them described,
nor blooming. Can yo describe them for me? How deep should they be planted
here in the NORTH-- geographic and climatically.

And SIMONE in Australia HI!!! Would you like me to send to you a
copy of the National Gardening Magazine about rebloomers? Some sources are
listed for these and other plants as well. It won't be incolor so you can
see what Clarence and Dorothy are talking about, however.

And GUNNAR: The above article is in the mail, as we speak!!

Both Gunnar and Simone: Please send stamps for my 7 year old son -- those
from a few day's mail would cause great excitement and would be categorized
immediately and probably shown to friends within the week!!! This is an
offer of an exchange. Also Ginny in Canada-- if you want the article and
can't get this mag -- same offer.
Post your snail mail address for the above..
