Carolyn....my momma didn't raise no dummies! When you don't have your irises
in Schreiners and Cooley's catalogues, you gotta do something to get the word
out...and REMINISCENCE is a nice Miniature Tall Bearded iris. And yes, you
are right...an MTB is not likely to win a Dykes....but here's a judge who has
voted for two different MTB's in the Dykes race in the past. I voted for
ROSEMARY'S DREAM a couple of times, and still consider it the finest MTB
around....I would give up all of my TBs (except SUKY) before I gave up
ROSEMARY'S DREAM. And I have voted for BUMBLEBEE DEELITE, an outstanding
MTB. Father of REMINISCENCE, Clarence Mahan in Virginia who has no shame!
