What were some highlights of the show? Of the judging process? of the
cultivars? Did you get to evaluate seedlings? What was your special moment?
I've had to break some ties and that is one uncomfortable moment!!
Rebloomers:
The lack of one or more seasonal requirements brings on rebloom?
Do you mean that we can get rebloom if the summer is cold instead of hot,
if winter is mild, if we provide shade where there should be light?
I guess the question is, is there any manipulation we can do? In WNY,
it seems we can get rebloom if the season is long enough--extended fall,
for example, after a colder spell in late summer, early fall.
And it seems that rebloom in very highly specific to some cultivars.
It' so rare in these parts that most of the time, because of the weather
factors we don't try. Does anyone else in the north grow for reblooming?
