Hello all,
Since I was responsible for the *false* rumor that Scott could dump the
Commercial Directory to this list I had best backpedal a bit.
A membership in AIS will bring you, four times a year, the AIS 'Bulletin,'
now under new editorship; Terry Aitken, editor and Scott Aitken, graphics
and layout. The 'Bulletin' has, in the Commercial Directory, four times a
year, roughly 90 iris suppliers, extolling their catalogs/price lists.
*Most* Chapter and Sectional editors have a subset of this directory on
their hard drives. I posted the Historic Iris Commercial sources to this
list. (13 suppliers)
The most complete Directory I know of (*118 commercial sources!*) is
published in the 'Sooner State Iris News' Kathy L. Poore, Editor; 3700 N.
18th Street; Oklahoma City, OK 73107-3724 Tel: 405-946-6982. The SSIN is
published five times a year and is an outstanding newsletter. An inquiry to
Kathy would reveal if a back issue containing the Directory could be
purchased or if an out-of-area subscription could be obtained. WELL worth
it!
