Just lost a message in reply to request for info on iris growing in Alabama
area. Let
me know if it headed your way.  

I believe Jimmy Burch is current RVP for that region and he has a catalogoue.
 He
has hybridized and introduced some beauties. Miss Nellie is my favorite.
 Having a
red clay soil I believe, and most iris bearded and beardless will respond in
that
area.  Know that T.A. Gilliam grows Louisianas and Japanese in the area
around
Huntsville.  I judged a show there some time ago and lovely iris were
exhibited grown
in that area.  Let me know if you need addresses.  Also they would welcome
you
in their affiliate I am sure.
