Having had known both the "thrills of victory" with rebloomers in Oklahoma, and
the "agonies of defeat" with them in New Mexico -- I couldn't resist a quick
comment. It's not a question of nature OR nuture, but a matter of the
appropriate combination.
There has to be a genetic predisposition toward reblooming. If a variety
doesn't have that, no amount of cultural gymnastics is going to make it rebloom.
The growing conditions must be right. Even the most prolific rebloomer can't
perform well under adverse conditions.
But nature + nurture = magic.
