AAAHHH, Sharon!  Your location explains a lot.  How long is your growing 
season?  
And how about those rains predicted for Texas and environs?  Did they 
materialize?  We were supposed to get some and didn't, thank nature.  The
creeks are swollen but seem to be containing it.  We had local flooding
-- on the street corners where drainage has always been inadequate.
I worry about the lower Mississippi and points south
