Gunnar -- I love your sense of humor.  Been wanting to tell yu all day.
Amaryllis are cousins of daylilies, I hear, which bloom after tall bearded
Iris in my garden.  
PS. be sure to give adequate rest to the amaryllis bulb, after feeding the
active foliage growth.  In contrast to iris, which takes very careful feeding.
