Hi Julie.  Thanks for the clarification.  Now, the question is, what is 
"in accordance with the rules of the American Iris Society"  Do you hve
THOSE rules?  We're really getting somewhere.  This means that Joe Schmoo's
nursery grown and informally named "Fancy Orange Fluff" can't be entered
and elegible, does it not?  Is there an official list of cultivars introduced?
The answer is of course, yes, one is published what, every three or five
years?  Does your club have one and how strictly does your club (or other
clubs around the nation) adhere to this?  To be officially sanctioned, of
course, we have to go by the rules.  It's good to discuss these rules, I think.
