I had DOTTED LINE briefly, Kathy. Also got it after the '94 Portland
Convention, and lost it the same fall. At least partially my fault, in
retrospect. I was so concerned about keeping it moist in my gravel pit here
that I'm sure I planted it too deep, then heaped up mulch besides. We
happened to have a very wet fall that year and it rotted. Last year, you may
remember, it would have shriveled up and blown away...Whoever named our
climate "temperate'' had a strange way of looking at things....
I am also sorry to see that this is Lorena's last big catalog. We visited
her garden after the convention in '94, and it was well worth the trip.
Amazing stuff, and I really enjoyed meeting her.
