The list from the Westbay Iris society that held the flea market sale where I got "Heady
Perfume" lists J Weller as the hybridizer with intro in 1991, described as TB, 36", tailored
white, deep golden yellow beards.
Another candidate is "Persian Berry", L Gaultier, 1977, TB, 35",Light mulberry and lavender
blend, deeper mulberry-rose hafts; tangerine beards; lightly ruffled. Schreiner's describes
it in the '92 and '95 catalogs (the only ones I have) as (Gaulter 1977)M.36",HM'78, AM'81
and says it rates next best or equal to "Mary Francis" by the same hybridizer. Pictured on
page 67 of the "95 catalog
