re:greetings, bulletin

Scott Aitken - hi, and glad to have you on the list. These iris nuts
(takes one to know one) have talked me into trying to grow pacific coast
hybrids, so, thanks to some seed sent by one of these kind folks, i now have
a washtub planted and am impatiently waiting for spring to see if any of them
will germinate and maybe live.

they also encouraged me to order a catalog from "Aitken's Salmon Creek
Garden', which i did. i hope it has a few color pics of these gorgeous
babies - any idea when they will be mailed? can i buy seeds?

<<I am encouraging my parents to

your parents may be wise - but cyberspace irisworld is a wonderful place to
be on a dreary cold winter day.

i agree, especially articles about breeding programs especially trying to
breed more disease resistant or fragrant varieties.
