re south african iris

Carolyn, their name is dietes.  They are grass iris, small flowers.  It 
sounds as if you might have one but I'm sure some of the experts will 
give you lots of info about them. I'm sure there are people here who grow 
them and know all about them.  Look in the archives - there was some 
discussion about them.  When I called them S. African iris I was too lazy 
to go and look up their proper name.  Get's me into trouble. Won't do 
that any more.
