No specifics yet, I want to plug the convention experience before the high
wears off.
If you enjoy iris and have never attended an iris convention you are
missing one of the transcendent moments in life. Mingling with hundreds of
people who passionately care about a flower you treasure is an unforgetable
experience.
Attending your first iris convention will only occur once, but it will
provide a lifelong glow in retrospect. For me, my first marathon, my first
iris convention and several events too personal to relate, have been
happenings of this nature. I have done scores of marathons, many iris
conventions, and the magic remains, enhanced by repetition and remembered
pleasures.
All (Iris Society members or no) are welcome at an iris convention and you
should treat yourself to least one.
