Karin: An Emertius Judge is one who has. by dint of many years of judging and
service to the AIS, been granted this special title.  It is likened to an
Emeritus Professor at any university, i.e. that special individual  that one
would look to in any given field of endeavor. Check the list of judges
published in the Bulletin and note those who were indicated as Emeritus. That
should give you the answer you are looking for.
