Hi,
Louise tells us that #2 pencils outlast anything with so-called
permanent ink - maybe but I have my old mini-blinds with black
'laundry marking pen' made by the Sanford company and marketed
under the "Rub-a-Dub" name lasting through out Zone 3 snow and
ice & summer sun for four years this summer. Most of them look
just great and will NOT have to be replaced (yet).
One of our local suppliers of JI and SI used a wonderful 'green
ink' on some wooden markers four years ago and they look good, too.
I know they are not "permanent" but they serve me well.
I am intriqued by the #2 pencil and I plan on doing a comparison
with my trusted laundry marker & the pencil this summer....maybe
our different climates and Zones have more to do with this than
our writing instruments? :-)
