Dave Silverberg Oregon:
The name of the dahlia on the cover of Horticulture Mag is "Bishop of Llandaff" that's Llandaff if your line got cut apart..
Shown in the pic with alstroemerias -- a striking yellow trumpeted plant I've
never heard of. The dahlia seems to be about 24 to30 " or less. The thing
that interests me is the foliage which is dark green with burgundy. The flower
is a dark red daisey with yellow stollens. I think It would be great!! and i
want some!! you are out there in DAHLIA growing land, aren't you? Swan's
or something like that. Swan Island? I can't find it in any of the sources
I have. Horticullture has a source, I haven't contacted them.. thot I'd
ask on the LIST first.
IDEAS??
CarolynSchaffner PS who is
Bishop of Llandaff -- a person??
