Thanks for the hint. I was waiting for some reason not to clean up in the fall.I have heard of people who run the lawn mower over the iris bed in fall.
That would spread the foliage all over the place and create a real mess.
Do you cut yours in the fall? I left my sib and jap foliage on and took it
off this spring. That made me pull on the tender shoots and expose the soil
to the (^(&^% fuzzy tailed things and I don't think it was a good idea.
There ain't no extra foliage on my bearded. Clean as a whistle, going to
spray next chance I get when the wind is gone.
Great growing weather today... warm, damp. They love it.
