10 g is about 1/3 ounce for a cost of $165/ounce.  For a packet of seed of some
common Asteraceae, you would not think twice about paying $2 US for 400 mg (=
$5/gram = $140/ounce).   Asteraceae seed are, in geneal, much smaller and lighter
than iris seed, but then the end result is a common Asteraceae, not a nobel iris.

Besides, the gentleman must make those payments on the Caddy.
