Whether it is a named clone, I cannot say. But I can confirm that there are I.
virginica that are "black-stemmed"and "pinkish-flowered". I've seen them, and
I'm raising some from seed I got in the 1996 SIGNA exchange. Donated by a lady
in Accomack, Va. I always pay particular attention to seeds donated by folks
in my general neighborhood. Sure hope these come true for me. It is a lovely
plant.
