Thanks Lloyd. I'm not at all sure how similar these locations are, but I
an sure that if I gave my irises any more water than I have this summer
they would rot. Other plants are dying from lack of, but not my irises.
It doesn't get at all cold overnight in summer here though, and perhaps
that is the difference. I have quite a few rebloomers guess they may
still possibly pop up a bloom stalk. An older cv - Frontier Marshall -
is the only one I have actually seen rebloom on. Many of my irises I've
had for less than a year, so I haven't had time to determine whether
this year is the exception or the rule.
It's still hot enough most days here to cook the flowers, my reblooming
Daylilies are not looking great.
