Pallida blooms here first of the tall bearded irises and also last. It opens
blossoms with intervals between openings. I have few bearded irises though I
consider pallida and the variegated form of pallida both good border plants.
They have superior foliage and would be useful in the border if they never
bloomed. Pallida about 1 - 2 inches high just now.
