Hope the Subject is correct. Gordon and I had a few extra hours to give
ourselves a treat (we have NO bloom to speak of so we left our garden
unattended) yesterday so of course we decided to visit Superstition
Gardens. It is a one hour drive, what a wonderful treat it was. Wild
flowers of all colors covered the hills the last 30 minutes of the drive.
As usual the garden was spotless, Roger was working (mowing) and Rick was
hosting people. We were given the grand tour thru dwarf seedlings, shown
Arils in bloom, enjoyed tulips, daffodils and the wild flowers that cover
the hills surrounding their place. Did notice that Season Ticket had 5
falls but not necessarily on terminal bud. In the seedling group I did
get down to smell new one (future release) and it was well worth the trip
down!! The name was either Chocolate Cherry or Cherry Chocolate and maybe
the name influenced me but it did smell like Chocolate covered cherries.
Now that I've made everyone long to be here in California I will close with
a big COME ON OVER. lorraine
