I haven't used liquid nails on anything that large but I have made my iris markers
out of 3/16" cold rolled steel, bent the end slightly, and used liquid nails to
apply a 1 3/4" X 3 1/4 " plate. It seems to hold real good providing you don't put
too much pressure on them. The liquid nails wasn't their cheapest as it isn't
waterproof. I used the waterproof liquid nails.
