I was told the same thing years ago when I lived in Austin. The lady told
not
to by white ones as that would accelerate the process of all the colors
turning
to white. I chalked it up to an old wives tale. It has never happened to
me.

Zone 7 - windy, windy, windy. JEWEL OF OMAR bloomed today and promptly
got battered. The last of the aril descendents this year.
