The only thing I have ever heard that is even remotely like this is some
lawn
treatments can cause this. It only affects current year bloom, but usually
causes
some deformities in the blooms as well. My experience with the neighbor's
lawn spray
runoff left deformed blooms, but not white. This event seems unlikely to me,
especially
since 3 were unaffected.
