I have four bloom stalks emerging on iris in pots; very exciting, as I seem
to recall a discussion several months ago that made the idea of blooms in
pots seem remote. Won't know what they are 'til they bloom; I only planted
the sickly leftovers in pots because I couldn't bear to throw them away.
Good lesson for me -- adds new insite to the concept of mostly dead vs all
dead.
