Regarding SIR JEFF, I've never seen in any area gardens, and I have
been in a great many. Stanton, NE, which is where the hybridizer
lived, isn't that far away, and I have been in other gardens there.
Katherine Tutin is either deceased or a very old lady by now,
according to what I've been told. I have another of her iris, SHELLY
ELIZABETH, which is one of my favorites, a variegata with a a soft
yellow standard and the same soft yellow rimming the falls. Larry
Harder introduced that one for her, & from what he has told me I
rather think she didn't introduce any herself. I will see Larry
Saturday and I'll try to remember to ask him more about Ms. Tutin,
also about SIR JEFF and any other of her hybridizations.
