CULT: white 'reversions'

How about this for another wild possibility - maybe there is some insect
vector of the dreaded 'white mutant gene' that infects all colors of TB
irises and causes all increases to be white chimeric sports.  As the
mother rhizomes die, these new zombie whites take over the earth, making
all tall bearded irises resemble graveyard whites.
