To Fiona, and others whom I may have steered wrong:
John Jones has it right. I was reading from an older directive
fromTom Tadfor Little when I wrote that you should use the message
SET IRIS-L MAIL NO MAIL. That is incorrect. I remember now that I
tried it, found it didn't work, got in touch with Tom and was told it
should be SET IRIS-L MAIL POSTPONE. I know that works, as I have
used it several times and soon will again. Getting to be too busy in
the garden to be at the computer.
Meanwhile, I apologize for muddying the waters more than they
already were. Now, I hope my lunch will taste better than this
humble pie, whose flavor is not my favorite!

Saturday, in the stretch of good weather between frequent rains, and
all is looking very good)
