Dear Lloyd,
It would be a pleasure to meet you, however briefly. I cannot promise much
in the way of iris in bloom on that weekend--the season seems to be
fleeting ahead, and my collection is, of course, very eclectic and very
small (in a small suburban garden--only a few TBs, but some representation
of every iris group). But we do have, I think, a nice garden with lots of
other interesting plants and it should be looking nice around then. You
would be welcome.
However, May 10th is graduation day at Hampden-Sydney and probably not the
best time. May 9th would be OK, or Monday, May 11th. Let me know if you
are coming and I will send along directions.
Mike Lowe is about 30 miles from here, as you probably know.
