Hi
In the 1989Iris Check List I found SIR JEFF (K Tutin, r1985)sdlg T-82-2-6
TB, 36" (91cm) LM. s butterscotch; f light brown at top, shadingto very dark
brown a t edge, bright blue spot at end of bronze beard; lightly ruffled.
Autumn Leaves X Conversation Piece.
Generally speaking it is a good idea to dig about 6 weeks after bloom
time for bearded iris.
So when is the plant available? Sometimes a bird in the hand is worth
two in the bush. I have given and recieved in the midst of bloom, but that
really isn't the best idea.
