RE: CULT: Siberians was favourite iris


Bob, moist does not mean a pool of water.  The site you describe is not
optimal for Siberians, even though they could possibly survive.  You
could put pseudacorus there though.

Siberians can be planted in more or less the same sites as TBs.
However, they object to having their roots the slightest bit dry.  So
for the first week or so following planting, make sure that the soil
stays damp but not soggy.  Siberians also do better with more water than
TBs in the hot summer months.  But they can be neglected with no ill
effects after the first month.

Enjoy Caesar's Brother.  It was my second siberian purchase -- the first
was Fourfold White.
