Question: How long does it take an Iris bud to open?
Remember that Iris I got at the plant sale, Engraved?
Told you it had one bud on it and then I found a 2nd
whole plant in the pot with a bud just starting to show
up.
Well the 1st one is still NOT open!, I've had it outside
in the sun on good days(like today) and inside on days
that the wind would have blown it into the next county.
The 2nd bud is 3/4th as tall as the 1st one already.
I'm use to the Walking Iris blooms poping open at dawn
and closing at night, they only last one day, but this
one sure seems to me to be draging along!
Dahliaman a WAITING WAITING WAITING for his Iris to bloom!
