Jeff, I've been known to be wrong (!) so I went & got a label -- one is
in the ground next to the plants & one I kept indoors so it's not
weathered & is quite legible. Typed neatly on the plastic label is "IRIS
spuria usulmania/SEASHORE IRIS". Doesn't mean the label-maker didn't
goof, of course.
Thing is, whether it's "usulmania" or "musulmanica", I still don't know
what these iris need to grow well & flower. Can you suggest a reference
source for me? I can't find anything specifically in WOI, THE IRIS BOOK
or anything else I have here, tho there's general info on SPUs.
Do you grow any SPUs in Utah?
