The hybridizers have! There are Sino-Sibes and Cal-Sibes, the
former not liking MS, but the latter doing quite well. IN STITCHES
bloomed for me last year, and maybe, DOTTED LINE will do so this year. I
have high hopes. Lorena Reid is a good source for these. Also, her
sibtosas do well, with her MAUVE SNOWTOP currently in bloom. M S is quite
a vigorous grower too. Lots of interspecie crossing is going on and what
I have quoted are 'reasonable facsimiles.'
