After much agonizing, I've decided that my favorite is the Louisiana ANNE
CHOWNING. Vivid red, long bloom season, many bud positions on strong
stalks and a rampant grower. A real GARDEN iris.
Two catalogs that are especially mouthwatering this year: Lone Star Gardens
(Louisanas) and Ensata Gardens (Japanese). Lots of great color pictures.
