OT-BIO: Linda Doffek

Hi all,

I am fairly new to irises and am a new member of AIS.  I live in Wisconsin.  I
started out with many Siberians and have acquired a real love for the bearded
irises.  My mom had been growing them and showing them for quite a while
before the bug bit me.  I showed my first irises last year and did quite well
and now I can hardly wait for the next show.  I am interested in trying some
aril-breds since I have a dry and very sunny location on the south side of my
house.  Perhaps someone can suggest some that can be successfully grown in
this area.  Also, I am planning to make my first crosses this year.  I'm sure
it will be interesting.  I am attending the convention in Denver this year (my
first) and I'm really excited to be going.  Drop me a line, I always love to
hear from fellow irisarians.
