I. Pumila is a minature dwarf species iris. It's distribution in nature
is eastern Europe thru parts of Russia. This species normally needs
very cold winters to perform well in a garden, hence the above problems
Mr. Zurbrigg is experiencing in his zone 7 garden. Suslik is a selected
clone(an individual with unique features from the normal) of I.
Pumila.
