Are there genetic correlations between colors fading and pigments
in irises? KAMORA quickly faded to a dreadful shade. DODGE CITY,
on the other hand faded beautifully, playing games with the sunlight
during the life of the bloom. SATIN'S MISTRESS held the deep ruby
red/black until it curled up without any significant fading. What is at
work here and can one determine the varieties which are not as likely
to fade by tracking their inheritance?
