Dear Linda: The best fall bloom here was on children of BABY BLESSED,
including LITTLE SHOWOFF, which had been thrown out on the ground and never
planted!! LOW HO SILVER is another Baby Blessed child that nearly laughs at
troubles. However, HI, (another Baby Bl) is a bit tender. I have two
seedlings in bllom now from LADY EMMA X LITTLE SHOWOFF. Both look MTB, and
one may be good enough to introduce. If so, it would be my first MTB
introduction. The good one is yellow with white F. bordered Y. and good
substance. I would love if it rebloomed, and it may. Had seedlings also
from a sibling X ORANGE TIGER.
Have some early Space-Age seedlings in bloom; mostly these are very
late in the season. One is a cool white with blue "emanations" and some
hints of yellow, and blue flounces and red beards. It has great form, at
least for a SA, and distinctiveness. This is a re-select from Mesmerizer
and a red-bearded white SA seedling. Luckily it has good pollen,(looked
good), and I wish it had a dozen anthers instead of three. Lloyd Z in
