Welcome to the Iris List. I know you mentioned beardless Irises, but
you may wish to try some of the bearded Irises, especially those from
Colorado Hybridizers.
Back to the Beardless Irises, I think that the show Spuria Irises
would do great in your area. I think there are other species you could
grow. I am hoping that some of our Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah members
see this and help.
