I've read the Dutch irises were some kind of hybrid of other bulb irises.
to what degree
are they hybrids of the Spanish and English irises. From reading, I
gathered the
English irises would do better in cooler, damper climates than is available
here in
my part of Texas. What about the Spanish irises? Does anyone grow them?
They are listed separately in the McClure and Zimmerman CAT from either the
Dutch or English. Can you explain or describe the habits of I. tingitana
and I.
latifola and how they are different from the Spanish?
