Hi everyone, just a few notes about Ethel Spence. She was a charter member
of our club here in Hutchinson, KS. She was not a president but a very
active and generous member. She enjoyed going to conventions and seemed to
know everyone.Doing iris arrangements was her favorite part of the show. She
also was a good seamstress and did iris in needlework. Several years ago her
brother and her were in a car accident at which time the brother died. Ethel
has never fully recovered and is in a nursing type care home. We send her
our clubs newsletter and some other members keep in touch also. Her husband
passed away years ago.
