Bloom Report from Australia


Cool!  I've got TWO different irises out now.  I unguicularis opened today
to add its flower to the I. unguicularis 'Blue Stripe' that I already had out.

This all helps me feel not-quite-so-left-out hearing about all your
glorious irises in flower over there.  Only 4 or 5 months to wait (Sigh!!)

While I'm at it......
	I've heard a few comments about I. atropurpurea flowering now I think on
your side of the world??  Would someone be able to set me some seed and
send it over.  As far as I know its one of the oncocyclus species and I'd
like to get hold of some of it.

- One of these days I'm going to contact Barry Blyth and find out whether I
can "piggyback" a couple of irises onto his importing from the US.  I
REALLY want to get Syrian Princess!!!!
