All this talk about naked ladies.  Sure wish I had some of 'em out by my
pool.  Might make it easier, in this hot weather to convince myself to go
out and work in the yard (though I doubt Francelle in Arizona has much
sympathy).

Actually I used to have some at my old home; wish I'd dug and moved a few.
I always thought they were called amaryllis belladonna.  The plant I am
familiar with looks similar to agapanthus (lily of the nile); loses all of
it's leaves in the summer and essentially becomes "invisible"; then sends up
a stalk with a cluster of  fragrant pink flowers (all facing more or less in
the same direction, unlike Dutch "amaryllis").
