I believe you have correctly identified the flower. That is what I call them.
Strangely, while I can detect the fragrance of other flowers that people
identify as fragrant, I rarely detect this ones fragrance. My wife, sniffing
the same flower, comments "how heavenly".
Since some power has influenced me to call them amaryllis belladonna and
granted my wife the ability to percieve a heavenly fragrance rather than me,
I must conclude that my wife's insistance that I avoid Naked Ladies has
devine support. <g>
